Refund & Licensing Policy

1. What you're buying

When you purchase a license from AZ Dev, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the named Tekla Structures plug-in on the number of seats specified by your chosen license tier. You are not buying the source code or the right to redistribute the software.

2. Try before you buy

Every plug-in offers a free 15-day trial. The trial provides the same functionality as the paid version so you can validate the tool against your workflow before committing. We strongly recommend using the trial before purchase.

3. Refund eligibility

Because the trial gives you full access to test the software, refunds are issued only in the following cases:

• The plug-in fails to install or launch on a supported Tekla Structures version (currently 2022, 2023, 2024).
• A documented feature is missing or broken and we cannot deliver a fix within 14 days of your report.
• Duplicate accidental purchase of the same license within 7 days.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase by emailing ahmed.zietoon@hotmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue.

4. License transfers & seat changes

A license can be moved between devices belonging to the same user by signing out of the desktop app on the old device first. To transfer a license to a different user, or to upgrade from a single-seat to a multi-seat plan, contact support — we'll prorate the difference.

5. Updates & support

Annual licenses include free updates and email support for the term of the license. Permanent licenses include lifetime updates and priority support. Custom development engagements include a 30-day warranty period during which any defects are fixed free of charge.

6. End of license

When an annual license expires or is otherwise terminated, the desktop app will stop validating after the next launch. You can renew at any time from your My Purchases page. If a license expires and is not renewed, it will be removed from your dashboard. Your order receipt is always available via the email confirmation sent at time of purchase.

7. Limitation of liability

AZ Dev plug-ins automate Tekla Structures tasks. The user remains responsible for verifying all output against project requirements, codes, and standards. AZ Dev's liability for any claim arising from use of the software is limited to the license fee paid for that software in the preceding 12 months.
